An earlier variant of the IH Travelall/Pickup fender-fill tank family, for 1961-1968 trucks specifically — right side, without emission fittings. Unlike most MTS tanks, this one ships with a new sending unit already installed, not just the lock ring and gasket.
A pinhole rust leak in an old steel tank rarely stays a pinhole for long, and by the time it's obvious, the surrounding metal is usually too thin to weld safely. This polyethylene replacement sidesteps rust entirely, so the installation notes below are what actually determines whether this swap goes smoothly.
