Fits but not perfectly - still a nice tank
It's the (currently) only available larger gas tank for the EFI KLX. It will give you about 2.5 liters more gas. Looks well built and should hold up well. You'll need to drill a couple small holes in your plastic side covers. I would have rather not do this, but not a big deal. The tank fits but not as perfect as the stock tank. I had to do a fair amount of pulling on the plastics and knudging the tank to get the holes to line up. It works, but I can see it being a hassle trailside. Last thing I would mention, the breather hose on the gas cap will get twisted as you screw it on unless you start screwing it on already twisted (and it untwists as the cap tightens). Hard to explain but you'll understand when you try. I wish the cap had something built in so it wouldn't twist as you opened it, but whatever. Just a minor thing. Overall I'm happy with it.

Carries more gas.
Overall a great tank, the lineup on the OEM shrouds isn't perfect. One side was a real stretch to get the holes to get where they needed to go. Probably just a little variance in the construction of each tank, I'll refit everything once the tank settles in a little. It nice not having some of the overflow plumbing hanging off the bottom of the bike.
