A one-year-only revision of the Grand Cherokee fuel pump module, cross-referencing to a different Jeep part number than the prior generation. Replaces Jeep part 5003855AA.
A sending unit that's dragging or corroded inside the tank can also starve the engine of fuel under hard acceleration, not just throw off the gauge reading — it's a fuel-delivery part as much as an instrumentation one. Matching the ohm range and pump configuration exactly is what restores both functions at once.
