For CJ owners who want more range than the stock 15-gallon tank (SKU 0050) offers, this 21-gallon version bolts into the same rear-axle location with a taller profile. It ships with the sending unit, end straps, and lock ring included, but still needs the OEM-style skid plate and MTS's filler/vent hoses, plus an in-line fuel filter, to finish the install.
By the time a steel tank rusts through, the fuel it's been holding has usually already picked up rust flakes that foul filters and injectors downstream. Swapping to this polyethylene tank removes that source of contamination for good, provided the capacity and mounting details match your application exactly.
