At 35.5", this is the early '70s version of the CJ temperature control cable — noticeably longer than the 1978-1986 version. Includes nut, washer, and push nut, replaces Jeep part 989932.
Cables and valves like this one wear quietly — a little more slack or a little more resistance every year — until one day the range of motion just isn't there anymore.
