Product Description
Vent-side match to CJFH-3, metal tank only — same restriction applies, this won't fit the plastic tanks used from 1972-1977 (use CJVH-2 for those). Replaces Jeep part J992963.
Rubber fuel hose hardens and cracks with age, and ethanol-blended fuel accelerates that breakdown compared to the gasoline these vehicles were originally designed around — a cracked filler or vent hose is a slow leak and a fuel smell waiting to happen. Getting the length and diameter right here is what makes for a tight, lasting seal instead of another hose clamped over a hardened, brittle stub.
