This is a brand-new, OEM-replacement-style electric fuel pump kit that mounts inside the tank, including the pump itself, a metal strainer, a strainer sock, and the rubber grommet needed to seal it in place.
A weak or failing fuel pump shows up as hard starting, hesitation under load, or stalling at idle long before it quits completely. An OEM-spec replacement restores the fuel pressure the engine was designed to run on.
