What is the Seat Concepts Honda CRF250X Comfort Seat Cover?
It is a Foam & Cover Kit for the seat you already have, not a complete seat. The factory seat on the CRF250X can feel like a wooden plank after a few hours, and the kit widens the sitting area and levels out the slope. It keeps you from sliding forward and helps you stay relaxed on long days in the woods. The foam is rated medium density, 5% softer than the factory foam.
Which years does it fit?
It fits the Honda CRF250X from 2004 to 2017, so it rebuilds a CRF250X seat and a CRF 250X seat for those years.
What is the CRF 250X seat height, and what does the kit change?
Honda gives the 2017 CRF250X seat height as 37.7 inches, which is the CRF 250X seat height before you change anything. The kit comes in Standard height only, the same as the factory seat, and it is 7-3/8 inches (187 mm) wide with the same length as the factory seat.
Which covers can I choose?
You can choose black or red carbon fiber sides with a black sandpaper top. Black carbon fiber is a semi-smooth vinyl-based material with low grip. Black sandpaper is the high-grip top: its texture is like low-grit sandpaper, it holds you in position, and it works best with purpose-built riding gear.
Is this a complete seat?
No. It is a Foam & Cover Kit, so you get new foam and a new cover together for your existing seat base. There is no cover-only option.
How long does a CRF250X seat kit take to arrive?
