Product Description
AR Assistant adds traction control and wheelie control to a bike that doesn't have it stock. It reads wheel speed at the front and rear (through its own sensors, since most bikes without factory TC don't have the ABS-style sensors this needs) and cuts power the moment it detects wheelspin or the front wheel lifting past your set limit.
Key Features
- Needs Transistor Controlled Ignition to work, which covers nearly every modern fuel-injected bike, but it's not compatible with older Capacitor Discharge Ignition setups.
- Bikes without ABS need the separate wheel disc and sensor kit added on, since they don't already have the speed sensors this system reads from.
- A pit lane limiter switch caps your speed on demand, also handy as a simple speed governor for a less experienced rider.
- Traction and wheelie control adjust across 12 levels to match the surface and your riding style, and there's a physical on/off switch if you want it fully out of the picture.
- Launch control is tunable to your specific bike and riding style, aimed at getting off the line hard without an unwanted wheelie.
- Weatherproof and shock resistant, with automatic firmware updates over WiFi for the life of the product.
- Size: 50mm x 57mm x 17mm (1.96″ x 2.24” x 0.66”)
- Weight: 44g
- Type: Spare replacement disc only, no-slip (NS) type
FAQ
What's included when I buy this?
The AR Assistant control unit. Some bikes also need the separate wheel disc and sensor kit, sold on its own listing, since not every bike has the wheel speed sensors this reads from.
Does it need ABS to work?
No. Non-ABS bikes need the ARA disc and sensor kit added, since they don't have the wheel speed sensors this system reads from.
Will it work with my other HealTech products?
Yes, it's designed to run alongside the rest of the HealTech lineup without conflicts.
What kind of ignition system does my bike need for this to work?
Transistor Controlled Ignition (TCI), which is what almost every modern fuel-injected motorcycle uses. It won't work on older Capacitor Discharge Ignition (CDI) systems.
