This dependable aluminum cast pump can be used to pump either directions. Cranking the pump clock-wise will draw fluid from the tank and cranking counter clock-wise will pull fluids into the tank. The internal rotor and vane are made of a custom composite material designed for chemicals such as gasoline, mixed fuels, diesel, kerosene, medium viscosity oil, heating oil, and industrial lubricants such as soluble oil and mineral spirits.
The pump has a machined sand cast aluminum body with two female 3/4" NPT ends. The handle crank is also sand cast aluminum with a nice free spinning wooden handle.
HMC builds our own pumps in Marshalltown. Nearly every component of the pump is American Made. Each pump is 100% inspected during assembly and will pump approximately 5 gallons in 100 rotations.
This is the original pump which ships with the GC series of Gas Caddy's.
