The OEM-spec version of the GM sending unit O-ring, for original metal-style tanks rather than the MTS replacement.
A hardened or cracked gasket is a small part with an outsized effect — it's usually the actual source of a fuel smell or seep that ends up getting blamed on the tank itself. Replacing it any time the connection it seals gets opened up is cheap insurance against doing the job twice.
