What is the Seat Concepts BMW F650GS and G650GS Comfort Seat Cover?
It is a Foam & Cover Kit for the seat you already have, not a complete seat. It levels the seating area and widens it to 13.5 inches (343 mm). The foam is rated medium density, 5% softer than the factory foam. It is an F650GS comfort seat kit and a G650GS seat kit.
Which BMW models and years does it fit?
It fits the BMW F650GS and F650GS Dakar from 2000 to 2007 and the G650GS and G650GS Sertao from 2008 to 2017, so it rebuilds a BMW F650GS seat, an F650GS seat, a BMW G650GS seat and a G650GS seat, and an F650GS Dakar seat.
What is the BMW F650GS seat height, and what does the kit change?
The kit changes your BMW F650GS seat height and F650GS seat height by the height you choose, and the same goes for the BMW G650GS seat height, the G650GS seat height and the F650GS Dakar seat height. Standard matches the factory F650GS and G650GS seat, which is 1 inch (25 mm) lower than the factory Dakar and Sertao seat. Tall is 1 inch (25.4 mm) taller, the same height as the factory Dakar and Sertao seat. Both are 13.5 inches (343 mm) wide.
Which covers can I choose?
The sides are black carbon fiber, and the top comes in black semi-grip, with black sandpaper on the Tall height. Black carbon fiber is a semi-smooth vinyl-based material with low grip. Black sandpaper is the high-grip top: its texture is like low-grit sandpaper, it holds you in position, and it works best with purpose-built riding gear. Black semi-grip is the low-slip top: its beaded cross weave keeps you in position but lets you move around the seat, and it works with casual clothing such as jeans as well as riding gear.
Is this a complete seat?
It is a Foam & Cover Kit, so you get new foam and a new cover together for your existing seat base. There is no cover-only option.
How long does an F650GS seat kit take to arrive?
Every Seat Concepts seat is made to order, so please allow 6 to 8 weeks for production and shipment. Because each seat is built to your options, returns and cancellations carry a 20% fee. We are an authorized Seat Concepts dealer, and every seat is built with Seat Concepts' proprietary foam formula and individually inspected before shipment.
