Product Description
This side/midship tank covers a wide span of Ford's F-Series lineup — F-150 through F-350 and F-Super Duty, gas or diesel, short wheelbase and some long wheelbase trucks. It has an emission valve/rollover hole with a 3.625" sending unit opening, but no internal support vent pipe, and it does not replace the OEM plastic tank secured with a plastic retaining nut. Cross-references to Ford part numbers E5TZ-9002-M, F6TZ-9002-M, and F3TZ-9002-L.
Old steel tanks don't just rust through the bottom — years of temperature swings work seams and welds loose too. This tank's one-piece polyethylene construction has no welded seams to fail, which is why an exact fitment match, not another round of patch repairs, is the real fix.
