Product Description
The 31-gallon extended-range tank for the restyled 1982-1991 body style, matching the dimensions of SKU 2231 but built for this generation's mounting and cross-referenced to three OEM part numbers: 14050684, 15615625, and 15624668.
A pinhole rust leak in an old steel tank rarely stays a pinhole for long, and by the time it's obvious, the surrounding metal is usually too thin to weld safely. This polyethylene replacement sidesteps rust entirely, so the installation notes below are what actually determines whether this swap goes smoothly.

✓ Appearance Note: Because each tank is custom molded, you may occasionally notice minor cosmetic surface bubbles left over from the molding process. This is purely cosmetic, has no effect on performance or durability, and doesn't occur on every unit — every tank is individually pressure-tested before it ships to confirm a leak-free seal.
⚠ Order Notice: MTS builds each fuel tank to order rather than pulling from mass-produced stock. Please allow a 7–10 business day lead time for manufacturing and individual pressure testing before your tank ships.
