Long-wheelbase counterpart to the earlier 16-gallon side/midship tank (SKU 4216B), for 1980-1983 F-100 and 1980-1984 F-150/F-250/F-350 gas trucks (diesel starting 1983). Same 2" sending unit opening as its shorter-wheelbase sibling.
Ethanol-blended modern fuel is harder on decades-old steel tanks than the gasoline they were designed around, accelerating the corrosion that eventually perforates the metal. Molded in cross-linked polyethylene, this replacement doesn't have that failure mode at all — it just needs to be the correct fitment, which is where the details below matter.
