Product Description
Same 19-gallon Scout II/Terra/Traveler tank as SKU 3019E, built with emission control fittings for trucks that came so equipped from the factory. Same OEM part number cross-reference, same lock ring and gasket included.
Steel OEM tanks corrode from the inside out as ethanol-blended fuel picks up moisture over the years, and once rust perforates the metal there's no patching it — a full replacement is the only real fix. This tank is molded in high-density cross-linked polyethylene specifically because it doesn't rust, pit, or corrode the way steel does, so once it's installed correctly it's not something you'll be revisiting.
