Covers the 18 and 23.5-gallon side-mounted Comanche tank for the 2.5L fuel-injected engine, without the in-tank pump — see JPSU-6P2.5 elsewhere in this catalog for the pump-equipped version of the same engine.
A sending unit that's dragging or corroded inside the tank can also starve the engine of fuel under hard acceleration, not just throw off the gauge reading — it's a fuel-delivery part as much as an instrumentation one. Matching the ohm range and pump configuration exactly is what restores both functions at once.
