Product Description
This tank covers both the 1982-1986 C/K Series and the 1987-1989 R/V Series trucks with non-fuel-injected gas or diesel engines — a wider fitment window than most MTS square-body tanks. It mounts on either the right or left side, so it works for whichever side your original tank was on.
A pinhole rust leak in an old steel tank rarely stays a pinhole for long, and by the time it's obvious, the surrounding metal is usually too thin to weld safely. This polyethylene replacement sidesteps rust entirely, so the installation notes below are what actually determines whether this swap goes smoothly.
