This 20.2-gallon side-mount tank is built for F-Series pickups equipped with Ford's EVAP emissions system — two gauge holes instead of one, so confirm your original tank's hole count before ordering rather than assuming by capacity alone.
Steel OEM tanks corrode from the inside out as ethanol-blended fuel picks up moisture over the years, and once rust perforates the metal there's no patching it. This tank is molded in high-density cross-linked polyethylene specifically because it doesn't rust, pit, or corrode the way steel does.
