Product Description
Original fuel tanks for the early International Harvester Scout are getting harder to find in usable condition every year, and MTS still manufactures this passenger-side replacement to keep these trucks on the road. It comes as a complete kit — fuel pickup tube, mounting straps, bolts, washers, nuts, and a new gasket — cross-referenced to IH part 872537R93.
Old steel tanks don't just rust through the bottom — years of temperature swings work seams and welds loose too. This tank's one-piece polyethylene construction has no welded seams to fail, which is why an exact fitment match, not another round of patch repairs, is the real fix.
