Updated 16-gallon tank for 1982-1986 C/K trucks, also covering 1987-1989 R/V Series trucks with non-fuel-injected engines. Like its predecessor (SKU 2050B), it mounts on either side of the frame.
A pinhole rust leak in an old steel tank rarely stays a pinhole for long, and by the time it's obvious, the surrounding metal is usually too thin to weld safely. This polyethylene replacement sidesteps rust entirely, so the installation notes below are what actually determines whether this swap goes smoothly.
