This is the 21-gallon fuel pickup tube assembly for the Wagoneer/Cherokee, including a new in-tank fuel filter, lock ring, and O-ring. It replaces Jeep part 5357843 and pairs with the matching tank and sending unit if you're doing a fuller fuel-system rebuild.

A cracked or clogged fuel pickup tube starves the engine of fuel long before the tank is actually empty, since it's the tube that draws fuel up to the sending unit and pump. Replacing the in-tank filter along with it, as this kit does, catches the other half of that same failure mode.
