This sending unit is built for the 19-gallon Scout II tank on the International Harvester platform. It's matched to an ohm range of Full 8-10, Empty 70-80, so the fuel gauge reads accurately instead of just moving the same problem to a new part. Includes a new lock ring, gasket and in-tank fuel filter.

Fuel gauges don't usually fail gradually — they're fine, then suddenly wrong, and a bad sending unit is almost always the reason. This one matches the OEM ohm range and mounting pattern so the gauge reads correctly from the first mile.
