This is a NEW factory type in-tank Fuel Pump Module and sending unit for the Jeep YJ.
This module is also perfect when converting the older CJ's to fuel injection. Each CJ GenRight gas tanks is made with the ability to accept this bolt-in upgrade.
We also offer it as a convenience to our customers who are replacing old/worn out YJ fuel pump modules when upgrading to a YJ GenRight tank.
The unit has a giant supply line (3/8" hose) and a return line (1/4" hose).
Has enough pressure and volume to work with most V-8 conversions (up to 5.9L Hemi).
Includes the "fine" filter sock at the pick up
IMPORTANT NOTES:
This module does not include the rubber gasket (that is required between the tank and module).
This module is manufacturered to fit the factory 20 gal plastic tank - IT WILL NEED to be lengthened OR shortened to properly reach the bottom of a GenRight gas tank.
If installing this module in a CJ the sending unit will not work with the factory gas gauge. Please retain the factory CJ sending unit in addition to this new in-tank pump or run an aftermarket gas gauge with the correct impedance to work with the newer YJ sending unit (which is more common).
Requires the use of "Fuel Injection" rated hose or hard lines all the way from the tank to the EFI suystem, due to the high pressure in the supply side of the fuel line.
